Job Title: Mechanical Foreman – Marine Experience

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman with strong marine industry experience to join our team in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical activities, coordinating workforce, and ensuring all marine mechanical works are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical works in marine projects and shipyard operations
• Monitor installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery
• Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and safety standards
• Manage technicians, fitters, and helpers on site
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers for smooth execution of work
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain daily work progress reports and documentation
• Follow company HSE policies and marine safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman in marine/shipping projects
• Experience in ship repair, offshore, dockyard, or marine construction projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, pumps, piping, and maintenance works
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
