Job Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Digital Marketing Assistant to support our growing home improvement company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on analytics, organization, and collaboration. This role is ideal for a data-savvy professional who can both build technical reporting solutions and translate insights into action plans that drive measurable improvements in performance. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify growth opportunities and lead initiatives from insight to execution.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain real-time performance dashboards that consolidate data from multiple systems (CRM, marketing platforms, affiliate networks, and internal tools).
- Communicate findings clearly through written reports, visual dashboards, and live presentations to the executive team.
- Create and automate data pipelines and integrations using APIs, SQL, or other scripting methods to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Partner with management to analyze key business metrics, identify trends, and develop data-driven action plans to improve results.
- Serve as the primary contact for affiliate partners and suppliers, communicating performance insights, opportunities, and strategies for optimization.
- Analyze and reconcile lead generation vendor invoices based on market and product allocation.
- Use data to improve supplier and affiliate performance, testing new approaches and tracking ROI.
- Lead project management efforts to ensure timely execution of reporting initiatives and improvement plans.
- Collaborate across departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance) to align reporting outputs with company goals.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy, ensuring all reports are trusted and actionable.
Required Skills, Abilities & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally within home improvement, building/construction, or related industries.
- Proven experience creating automated reports and live dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker.
- Demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable strategies and measure outcomes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
- Strong analytical background and proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data manipulation languages.
- Experience with API integrations, data connectors, and webhooks for cross-platform reporting.
- Experience in Lead Perfection (preferred), Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools.
- Background in marketing performance analytics, operations, or growth strategy.
- Excellent communication skills — able to clearly explain data insights and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience managing or working with affiliate programs, vendors, or suppliers, ideally in a marketing or performance-driven environment.
- Experience presenting data insights and recommendations to executive-level audiences.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple reporting and affiliate initiatives simultaneously.
- B2C experience with Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, or SEO a plus
Physical Requirements:
- 8-hour shift; Monday – Friday; In-Person
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
