The Role

We are looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst who thrives on turning imperfect data into commercial clarity. This is not a pure research role — your work will directly support Energetech’s trading and logistics decisions across Africa.

You will map fuel and chemical flows, benchmark logistics costs, monitor supply disruptions, and feed actionable insights to our commercial teams. Your analysis will directly shape bids, partnerships, and investments.

What You’ll Do

• Map supply chains: Track product flows, imports, storage hubs, and transport routes across East & Southern Africa.
• Support trading & BD teams: Build data-backed cases for new RFQs, validate pricing, and identify margin opportunities.
• Monitor market signals: Detect disruptions (strikes, policy changes, fuel shortages) and create early-warning alerts.
• Track competitors & regulation: Follow key market players, tenders, and regulatory updates that impact trade flows.
• Develop internal dashboards: Maintain clean, structured intelligence systems to support faster decision-making.

About You

• 2–4 years’ experience in energy, mining, logistics, or consulting — ideally with African market exposure.
• Fluent in English (French an advantage).
• Confident working with data — Excel, visualization tools, or simple GIS/mapping platforms.
• Able to synthesize incomplete data into credible commercial insights.
• Driven, curious, and eager to grow into a commercial or strategic role.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai.
