Lights On Digital, a marketing agency specializing in the hospitality industry, is looking to hire a Marketing Account Manager to join our Oahu-based team. As the primary point of contact for our key clients, this role serves as a crucial liaison between clients and our internal teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships while also driving client success through strategic guidance and hands-on project management. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management & Strategy
- Serve as the lead point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, managing daily communications and building strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, data-driven, short-term and long-term marketing strategies aligned with client business goals and consumer mindsets.
- Effectively communicate and present marketing strategies to clients, educating them on best practices and guiding them through next steps.
- Conduct weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly strategy meetings and reporting meetings with clients, preparing and presenting comprehensive, easy-to-understand performance reports that demonstrate value and progress.
- De-escalate negative situations and resolve conflicts while maintaining client trust and positive relationships.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing client relationships.
- Visit on-island clients in person as needed.
Internal Collaboration & Project Management
- Serve as the primary project administrator, using a project management tool like ClickUp to organize, track, and manage all tasks, content calendars, and team workflows.
- Strategize and delegate marketing initiatives to internal teams (including social, email, performance, and website).
- Manage project due dates and timelines to ensure promises made to the client are upheld.
- Review and edit creative work from internal teams to ensure it aligns with the client's brand and image.
- Foster a collaborative environment by effectively delegating tasks and providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual and team growth.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze campaign data using tools like GA4 and Google Ads to provide actionable insights and recommend data-driven optimizations.
- Track KPIs and monitor metrics to continuously improve client results.
- Develop and implement website optimization strategies with a strong understanding of the consumer mindset.
Continuous Learning and Professional Development
- Engage in learning opportunities such as webinars, certifications, and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends.
- Experiment with emerging social platforms and technologies to identify new growth channels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an account management or similar role, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and achieving measurable results.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and team collaboration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and present to key stakeholders.
- Experience in a project management tool, as well as analytics and reporting tools such as GA4 and Google Ads.
- Proficiency in GSuite and a creative eye for reviewing and editing creative work.
Preferred Qualifications
- A professional portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and client presentations.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience with all digital marketing channels.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Proficiency with design platforms such as Canva and Adobe.
- Experience with OTA Ad reporting (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
