MARKETING AND ADVERTISING SPECIALIST
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) to increase engagement and followers.
- Plan and create engaging, on-brand content including posts, videos, reels, stories, and blog updates. Frequency: 4-5 times daily on all social media platforms
- Manage daily social media activity: scheduling posts, responding to comments/messages/reviews, monitoring analytics, and engaging with audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to highlight company initiatives, events, and community stories.
- Build and nurture relationships with local organizations, influencers, and media partners.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to measure growth and engagement effectiveness.
- Coordinate community events, campaigns, and outreach efforts that strengthen the brand’s visibility and impact.
- Stay current on trends, tools, and best practices in social media and community engagement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of professional experience managing social media and/or community engagement for a brand, nonprofit, or company.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and visual content creation skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Canva).
- Experience analyzing insights and adjusting strategy based on data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable representing the organization publicly.
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about connecting with diverse audiences.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
