JOB ROLE
San Francisco Research Institute (SFRI) is a dynamic research organization dedicated to advancing clinical research, innovation, and collaborations across healthcare, life sciences, and digital health. We partner with global research institutions, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare providers to drive impactful outcomes. As we expand our reach, we are seeking a Social Media Executive to lead our digital presence, brand awareness, and community engagement across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy Creation Develop and execute SFRI’s social media strategy aligned with organizational goals. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (posts, graphics, infographics, reels, videos, blogs).
Draft clear, professional, and compelling captions tailored to each platform.
Showcase SFRI’s projects, partnerships, events, and research updates in an engaging manner.
2. Platform Management Manage day-to-day posting and engagement across website, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Monitor trends, hashtags, and industry updates to keep SFRI content relevant.
Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
3. Community Engagement Build and maintain relationships with followers, clients, research collaborators, and industry stakeholders.
Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Drive engagement campaigns to increase followers, shares, and visibility.
4. Online Reputation & Feedback Management Monitor and manage all comments, reviews, and feedback across social media platforms, Google reviews, and other digital channels.
Respond to comments, inquiries, and reviews in a professional, timely, and empathetic manner.
Escalate sensitive issues or negative feedback to the appropriate internal teams and support in drafting responses.
Track recurring themes in feedback and provide insights to leadership for improving SFRI’s communication and services.
Maintain a positive and professional online presence, ensuring SFRI’s reputation remains strong across all platforms.
5. Analytics & Reporting Track, analyze, and report on social media performance (reach, engagement, conversions, leads).
Use insights to optimize strategy and campaign performance.
Provide monthly reports to leadership on digital growth.
6. Campaigns & Growth Initiatives Plan and execute targeted campaigns for project launches, recruitment drives, events, and publications.
Collaborate with internal teams to amplify research outcomes, proposals, and new business initiatives.
Support lead generation and business development efforts through social media outreach.
7. Brand Building Innovation Position SFRI as a thought leader in clinical research and healthcare innovation.
Stay up to date with the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices.
Recommend creative ideas and innovative digital tactics to strengthen online
presence.
Qualifications & Skills Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
2+ years of proven experience managing professional social media accounts (healthcare, research, or B2B sectors preferred).
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, native platform insights).
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing basics.
Preferred:
Experience in clinical research, healthcare, or life sciences communication.
Video editing and motion graphics skills.
Understanding of LinkedIn algorithm and B2B engagement strategies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Results-driven and proactive approach.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
