Marketing and Business Development Coordinator
Introduction

We are currently seeking a full-time Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join our Vancouver office supporting the Marketing & Business Development Manager in executing all growth initiatives. As a vital member of our marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in executing marketing strategies, fostering business growth, and enhancing the firm’s brand presence.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, purposeful, thrives in a fast-paced working environment, and enjoys connecting with people. We are seeking a charismatic individual who will be a key component in the expansion and success of the marketing & business development department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Manager to execute all marketing and business development tactics to drive growth for the firm.

  • Plan, organize, and execute marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
  • Manage and grow the firm’s online presence across platforms, including the website and social media.
  • Create and deploy engaging content for social media, including paid ads (Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Oversee the creation and execution of the social media calendar.
  • Design marketing materials and graphics using tools like Canva.
  • Write and publish blogs and assist with website updates via WordPress.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and client communications.
  • Support the development of new client relationships and retention of existing clients.
  • Research potential clients, industry trends, and market opportunities to target specific sectors effectively.
  • Prepare proposals, pitch materials, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics (KPIs) and campaign ROI.
  • Coordinate business development initiatives such as speaking engagements and sponsorships.
  • Assist with holiday initiatives (client gifting and communications).
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Marketing & Business Development Manager (e.g., coordinating meetings, vendor communication, payment confirmations).
  • Communicate with external vendors and manage ad hoc projects as assigned.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing or business development (legal industry experience preferred).
  • Strong content creation skills for blogs, social media, and digital campaigns.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and running paid ads (Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, GA4, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • Basic design skills and ability to create visually appealing graphics.
  • Experience with WordPress for website management.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies and analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative, resourceful, and tech-savvy with a results-driven mindset.

Salary: $55,000 – 60,000 annually
