Team Overview
The Global Communications team is responsible for Corporate Communications at KKR, including both internal and external communications. The team focuses on protecting and promoting KKR’s brand and reputation and supporting business objectives (recruiting, retention, fundraising, dealmaking, business building, risk management and our overall license to operate) by building trust externally, and connectivity internally, through strategic, consistent and clear communications.
Position Summary
The Event Technology & Registration Associate will serve as a key member of KKR’s Global Events team, responsible for the strategy, implementation, and management of event technology platforms that enable seamless registration and exceptional attendee experiences. This individual will combine technical expertise with operational excellence to deliver high-impact events that advance KKR’s brand, strengthen relationships with investors and clients, and support the firm’s global objectives.
Overview
The Event Technology & Registration Associate oversees the systems and processes that underpin KKR’s global events portfolio. This role is responsible for designing and managing registration platforms (via Cvent), ensuring data integrity, and driving technology innovation across in-person, hybrid, and virtual experiences. Working closely with colleagues Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Technology, the Associate will ensure every touchpoint reflects KKR’s brand standards and commitment to excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities
Event Technology & Platform Management

Develop, manage, and maintain event registration websites and forms using approved platforms (e.g., Cvent, RainFocus).

Oversee the full registration lifecycle, including design, attendee segmentation, testing, data capture, and reporting.

Serve as the lead for event technology integration across registration, mobile applications, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

Troubleshoot technical issues and manage vendor partnerships to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery.

Continuously evaluate and implement platform enhancements that improve attendee engagement and team efficiency.
Data Management, Reporting & Insights

Maintain accurate event databases and uphold data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance standards.

Create and distribute reports and dashboards that provide insights into attendee behavior, engagement, and performance metrics.

Use advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) to analyze data, support decision-making, and identify process improvements.

Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless integration between event technology systems and KKR’s CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Event Execution & Onsite Management

Oversee attendee communications, including invitations, confirmations, and post-event surveys, ensuring accuracy and alignment with KKR’s tone and standards.

Collaborate with the event delivery team on logistics, production, and overall event execution.

Act as the primary liaison with onsite vendors to ensure flawless technical delivery and attendee experience.

Travel (approximately 10–15%) for onsite support as required.

Where travel required: Lead registration and check-in operations onsite, including badging, attendee flow, and technology management.
Collaboration, Communication & Process Excellence

Partner across Marketing, Corporate Communications, and other internal teams to align event delivery with strategic priorities.

Document best practices and establish scalable workflows to enhance efficiency across the events function.

Support onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing within the events and technology teams.

Maintain an unwavering focus on quality, accuracy, and brand consistency in every aspect of execution.
Qualifications

6–9 years of experience in event technology, registration management, or attendee experience within a corporate or financial services setting.

Advanced proficiency in Cvent (FLEX, Attendee Hub, OnArrival, and Reporting required); experience with RainFocus, Swoogo, or similar platforms preferred.

Technical proficiency with HTML/CSS and familiarity with registration logic and workflows.

Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Strong data and analytical skills; expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, demonstrating sound judgment and a commitment to excellence.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification (e.g., Cvent Advanced Certification) preferred.
