Position Overview
The Marketing and Communications Manager leads the strategy, execution, and day-to-day management of all marketing, communications, and event initiatives for I’ve Got A Name. This role is responsible for shaping the organization’s voice, strengthening community engagement, and driving awareness and support for programs serving those impacted by sex trafficking.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role that blends storytelling, digital marketing, event planning, vendor coordination, and community relationship management. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects while ensuring every touchpoint reflects the organization’s mission and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and donor support
- Manage all email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including list management, segmentation, and performance tracking
- Write and edit compelling content for emails, social media, website, and donor communications
- Maintain a consistent and mission-aligned brand voice across all platforms
- Oversee media relations, including press outreach and public-facing communications
- Track and analyze performance metrics to inform and improve future campaigns
Graphic Design
- Create visually compelling materials for marketing campaigns, events, and donor engagement
- Design digital and print assets, including social media graphics, event materials, and promotional collateral
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual communications
- Coordinate production of materials with external vendors as needed
Event Management
- Plan and execute key fundraising and community events from concept to completion
- Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination
- Oversee event marketing, registration, and attendee communications
- Coordinate speakers, program flow, and on-site execution
- Promote events through local, in-person contacts and speaking engagements
- Evaluate event performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Organize and supervise volunteers

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles
- Experience managing social media, email marketing, and content creation
- Experience planning and executing events
- Familiarity with design and marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Products, Wordpress)
- Nonprofit experience or humanitarianism involvement preferred but not required
Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
