Marketing And Public Relations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manger to lead the marketing efforts for Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV). This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to build and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining our brand narrative, elevating our online and offline presence, and positioning DTV as a global hub for technological advancement, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong leadership. The Marketing Director will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with internal and external partners, and stakeholders to achieve DTV’s mission and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a holistic, data-driven marketing strategy to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and attract key stakeholders, including startups, investors, corporations, and academic institutions.
  • Define the brand identity, value proposition, and core messaging DTV.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives.

2. Brand & PR Management:

  • Oversee all public relations and media outreach efforts, serving as a primary spokesperson for DTV or preparing other leaders for media engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and journalists.
  • Develop and manage a crisis communication plan.
  • Plan and execute a robust thought leadership program, including speaking engagements, white papers, and industry reports.

3. Digital Marketing & Content Creation:

  • Lead the development and management of all digital channels, including the website, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, etc.), and email marketing campaigns.
  • Develop a compelling content strategy that highlights success stories, zone developments, and thought leadership from our community.
  • Oversee SEO/SEM efforts to increase online visibility and drive targeted traffic.
  • Analyze digital marketing performance and provide regular reports to the leadership team.

4. Event & Experiential Marketing:

  • Plan, promote, and execute high-impact offline events, including conferences, workshops, networking sessions, and expos.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-host events that showcase DTV’s capabilities and community.
  • Develop and manage the marketing collateral and physical branding for DTV.

5. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team (internal and/or external agencies).
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, operations, and community management, to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
  • Present marketing strategies, progress, and results to the leadership team and board.



Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful marketing strategies from the ground up, preferably for a startup, technology hub, or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Deep expertise in both digital and traditional marketing channels, including SEO, content marketing, social media, PR, and event management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft a compelling brand narrative.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a history of mentoring and developing talent.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to inform decisions and measure ROI.
  • Experience in the innovation, technology, or startup ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
