Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center Volante Farms has over one hundred years in the community. In 2012, the farm stand was remodeled adding two kitchens, a deli, bakery, and an ice cream stand/coffee bar.

We are looking for a Part Time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team! Our goal is to make great food using great ingredients, focusing on scratch cooking, and using our homegrown produce.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Part Time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives with a primary focus on social media marketing and email marketing. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow their skills in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign coordination, while working with an established brand identity. We are looking to shift our social media presence from a free way of advertising specific events to a strategic marketing tool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools and platform insights
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency
  • Maintain the marketing content calendar and asset library
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assist with administrative and coordination tasks related to marketing projects
  • Assist with events, so content can be captured for social media channels
  • Build out photography, media archive, and graphics library, maintaining the existing brand identity

Please note, this is a 100% in office part time (roughly 25 hours per week) position.

Actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity and more.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media marketing or a related marketing role
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok)
  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Canva experience
  • Constant Contact experience
  • Comfortable working within a matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media scheduling and management tools
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills
  • Exposure to digital marketing beyond social media (email, SEO, or paid ads)
  • Experience working with content calendars and brand guidelines
