Marketing & Social Media Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Social Media Specialist to lead our digital presence, manage branding initiatives, and support marketing operations across multiple channels. This role is highly dynamic—balancing social media execution, content creation, branding, analytics, community engagement, and event support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays ahead of industry trends, and knows how to connect with audiences in meaningful and engaging ways.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management (Priority)
- Manage and optimize company pages across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create and publish 5 posts per outlet per week, including copywriting, graphics, and high-quality visual assets.
- Develop engaging stories, reels, memes, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Cross-post blog content to maximize reach.
- Foster engagement by replying to comments, liking posts, and reposting relevant content.
- Upload videos and support team-led video production.
- Track and analyze performance with weekly and monthly reporting to identify successes and improvements.
Branding & Collateral
- Coordinate company-branded apparel orders (e.g., hats, polos for new hires, seasonal gifts).
- Manage biannual company order forms and branded merchandise.
- Oversee production of business cards, fence signs, commercial & residential metal signs, vinyl and aluminum stickers.
- Provide marketing support for sales contracts and printed collateral.
Community Engagement & Events
- Schedule and attend meetings with schools, event sites, and community organizations.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners.
- Represent the company at local events, sponsorships, and outreach activities.
- Collaborate with venues and vendors to plan and execute branded events.
- Ensure all events align with company mission and brand standards.
- Oversee banners, signage, and promotional material for events and community engagement.
Marketing Support
- Assist with SEO and content writing to improve digital visibility.
- Support video production and creative campaigns.
- Assist with graphic design and visual asset organization.
- Conduct occasional site visits for content capture.
- Research, filter, and evaluate new marketing opportunities.
- Assist in sponsorships and print advertising, including artwork facilitation, payment, and deadline tracking.
- (Preferred) Manage pay-per-click advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills for content creation.
- Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles, SEO, and analytics tools.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and adjust strategies.
- Familiarity with print advertising and branded collateral production.
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and project management skills.
- Creative mindset with awareness of trends, memes, TikTok-style content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in outreach, community engagement, or event planning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with PPC advertising is a plus.
