Salary: AED 6,000 per month

A leading creative design and build company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join their growing team. This business designs and manufactures bespoke play and learning environments for schools, nurseries, leisure venues, and residential clients across the UAE and wider Middle East.

The Role

The Marketing & Social Media Assistant will support the marketing team in managing online content, social media activity, and promotional materials. The successful candidate will help showcase the company’s innovative projects through engaging digital content, keeping the website and social channels fresh, visual, and aligned with brand identity.

You’ll assist with content creation, social media posting, website updates, and general marketing coordination — gaining valuable experience across a variety of marketing functions in a fast-paced, creative setting.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management

• Plan, create, and post engaging content across social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
• Upload project images, videos, and updates to highlight recent installations and client work.
• Monitor engagement and respond to messages or comments.
• Schedule regular posts using tools such as Meta Business Suite or Hootsuite.
• Maintain a consistent online brand presence showcasing creativity and quality.

Marketing Support

• Assist with updating website content, including new projects, blogs, and client testimonials.
• Help design and prepare marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and newsletters.
• Maintain and organise marketing assets — photos, videos, and brand materials.
• Support content creation for campaigns, tenders, or education-related events.
• Track performance metrics for social media and website activity.

General Administration

• Liaise with internal teams to gather images and updates for marketing use.
• Maintain contact lists and marketing databases.
• Provide ad hoc support to senior marketing staff.

Person Specification

• Basic understanding of key social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
• A creative eye for visuals, layout, and presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple small projects.
• Comfortable using Canva, Microsoft Office, or basic design tools.
• Some knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software is an advantage.
• Interest in design, education, or creative industries.
