Description:
Assist the Vice President of Sales & Marketing in implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote Meteor Crater Enterprises. The Marketing Assistant supports daily marketing operations, manages social media and digital content, coordinates marketing analytics and reporting, and assists in maintaining strong partnerships and brand visibility. This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite work as needed for events and media projects.

Tasks

Manage and maintain social media platforms by scheduling and posting regular content, engaging with audiences, and ensuring the brand remains active and relevant.

Collaborate with influencers, journalists, and media partners to enhance brand exposure and audience reach.

Collect, organize, and report marketing data and performance metrics for campaigns and digital initiatives.

Respond to guest feedback, inquiries, and communication requests with professionalism and brand consistency.

Maintain advertising contracts, including out-of-home (OOH) placements and other media partnerships.

Develop and sustain cooperative relationships with tourism, hospitality, and business organizations to support marketing and community outreach.

Produce creative content such as videos, photos, and short-form media to promote events, programs, and visitor experiences.

Support promotional efforts for special events, educational programs, and tours, occasionally participating onsite to capture and document experiences.

Conduct general market research to identify trends, visitor preferences, and potential marketing opportunities.

Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting customer data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data. Measure and assess customer satisfaction.

Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.

Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade news/media.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Additional: Ability to occasionally travel or work onsite for events, media projects, or tours.
