Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing efforts in executing innovative campaigns and expanding our brand presence. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various marketing channels, including digital, social media, and content marketing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO, social media marketing, and digital advertising tools, with a passion for driving results through creative strategies. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate closely with our marketing director to develop compelling content, analyze campaign performance, and contribute to the overall marketing efforts of the organization.

The position will also entail processing and packing orders, customer service outreach (via phone and email), along with other various office administrative tasks which will provide diversity to the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing multichannel marketing campaigns across digital platforms such as social media, email, and e-commerce channels.
• Manage and optimize social media accounts using platforms like Facebook Advertising and other social media marketing tools.
• Support content creation including copywriting for blogs, newsletters, advertisements, and website updates using Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audiences to inform marketing strategies.
• Help coordinate advertising sales initiatives and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
• Assist in managing paid advertising campaigns through Google AdWords and Facebook Advertising to maximize ROI.
• Contribute to SEO efforts by optimizing website content and implementing best practices for search engine ranking.
• Support product management teams with market research, content development, and campaign execution related to new product launches or updates.
• Collaborate on budgeting activities for marketing projects ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Assist with packing products and assisting in shipping via Shipstation.
• Creating invoices and emailing them to our customers.
• Helping field customer inquiries, handling customer service e-mails and phone calls.
• Assist with various other office administrative tasks.

Experience

• College degree required, preferably with a major in Marketing or Business.
• Prior experience or internship in digital marketing, social media marketing, or related marketing fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with SEO techniques, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress, HTML basics, and marketing automation tools is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of performance marketing strategies including B2B marketing, print advertising, and product management is advantageous.
• Excellent research skills combined with a creative mindset to develop innovative marketing solutions.
