This role will focus on:

As part of a regional team of marketing professionals focused on trade shows, lead development, and digital marketing initiatives, the Marketing Associate will play a key role in driving engagement and supporting business growth. The successful candidate will manage lead qualification, marketing data, collateral, and event execution while serving as the first point of contact for marketing-related requests from the sales teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Trade Shows & Events
• Plan and execute trade shows and events, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate booth layout and visual design according to Watson-Marlow brand guidelines.
• Manage logistics, including shipping, setup, and lead data collection.
• Oversee post-event follow-up and lead distribution to sales managers.
• CRM, Sales & Lead Management
• Collect, pre-qualify, and distribute leads from various sources to the appropriate channel partners.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data.
• Organize and upload contact lists from trade shows and campaigns.
• Support the coordination of email marketing campaigns in line with corporate standards.
• Marketing Collateral
• Manage inventory of marketing materials, including brochures and promotional items.
• Coordinate translations and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory guidelines.
• Source and order printed materials while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Digital Marketing
• Support local website optimization and assist with SEO and PPC activities.
• Manage and monitor regional social media pages (including Spanish-speaking markets).
• Ensure accurate translations and consistent brand representation across all digital platforms.
• Track and report monthly digital marketing metrics (social media, PPC, and lead performance).

Who You’ll Work With

• You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as:
• Business Development Manager (Manager)
• National Sales Manager and US Sales Team
• Marketing, Application Engineering, and Customer Service teams
• Accounting and Production teams
• And externally with:
• Channel partners, distributors, and customers (engineers, consultants, purchasing agents)

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years of related marketing experience
• Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish proficiency a plus
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred experience in:

• Trade show and event management
• CRM systems (data management and lead tracking)
• Digital marketing – SEO, PPC, Google Ads, LinkedIn campaigns, and social media management
• Budget management
• Webchat tools and basic graphic design tools (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with marketing automation platforms is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the US and Canada

Physical Demands:

• Mobility: Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods (at least 50% of the time), with occasional need to stand or move around to maintain health and well-being; and occasionally lift or carry office supplies and equipment up to 10 pounds. Ability to regularly operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
• Vision and Hearing: Ability to use a computer and read documents at close range (within a few feet of the observer or screen).
• Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients either in-person, phone, or video conferencing tools (ie: Teams or Zoom).
• Work Environment (office): Typical office setting with moderate noise levels and standard office equipment.
