POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Associate is a key contributor to CHOICE’s marketing, branding, and communications efforts and plays a critical role in expanding the organization’s reach, visibility, and donor engagement. This part-time position (20 hours/week) is ideal for a skilled marketing professional with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience who is ready to help elevate CHOICE’s channels, content, and audience growth.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Associate supports marketing strategies and owns selected marketing channels based on experience and organizational needs. This position is execution-focused and will develop, publish, and optimize content across digital and print collateral; support campaigns and events; and strengthen CHOICE’s storytelling with accuracy, dignity, and heart.
The goal of CHOICE’s marketing is three-fold: educate audiences on the challenges and solutions to rural extreme poverty; inspire them with stories of hope and resilience from the communities we serve; and activate them to donate, advocate, share, partner, volunteer, attend, sign up, and more.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing content and coordinating its creation with others, while contributing to measurable marketing results through effective and strategic channel ownership, execution, and continuous improvement.
