Job Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Associate to support the execution of our marketing initiatives and help bring the Beautiful Feet Books brand to life. In this collaborative role, you’ll assist with content creation, email and social media coordination, light creative work, website updates, and general project support. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and excited to contribute to meaningful work that serves homeschool families. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to keep campaigns moving and ensure our messaging stays consistent, high-quality, and mission-aligned.

Role Overview
The Marketing Associate supports the Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives. This role is hands-on and collaborative, assisting with content creation, campaign coordination, digital updates, and cross-department communication. The ideal candidate enjoys creative work, is detail-oriented, and can keep projects organized while supporting a wide variety of marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination & Campaign Support

- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing campaign ideas, promotional plans, and content needs.

- Collaborate in the execution of marketing campaigns across email, social media, website updates, and product launches.

- Support the maintenance of the marketing calendar and help ensure deadlines are met.

- Assist with communication to influencers and affiliates as directed

Content Creation & Creative Support

- Write and edit marketing copy including email content, social captions, product descriptions, and landing pages.

- Create visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools such as simple graphics, thumbnails, and social media creatives.

- Capture light photography (product images, lifestyle shots) as needed.

- Support coordination with external creatives by helping prepare briefs or reviewing initial drafts under the Marketing Manager’s direction.

Digital Presence & Website Assistance

- Assist with updates to bfbooks.com, including basic product page edits, landing pages, and blog posts.

- Support SEO efforts through optimized copy and keyword recommendations.

Analytics & Performance Monitoring

- Help track campaign performance including email metrics, social engagement, and website activity.

- Summarize key takeaways and share observations with the Marketing Manager.

- Monitor basic competitor activity and surface relevant trends.

Project Support & Cross-Department Coordination

- Collaborate with internal teams (Product Development, Customer Service, Operations) to gather information, assets, and approvals.

- Help keep tasks organized within Asana, maintaining timelines and checking on progress when requested.

- Provide general project coordination support on subscription or special initiatives.

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related creative field.

- Strong writing and editing skills.

- Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email platforms.

- Proficiency in Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

- Basic photography skills or willingness to learn.

- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly.

- Experience working with project management tools like Asana is helpful.

- Bonus: experience in the homeschool or education market, publishing, or Shopify.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
