This role is hands-on. You will ideate, create, and publish content across channels, then track performance to learn what resonates.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Strong at writing clear, warm, educational copy
• Comfortable making short-form content on their own (phone/camera shot, light edits, post)
• Organized enough to follow a content calendar and hit deadlines
• Curious about Japanese tea and open to learning our products and culture
• Able to look at simple metrics (reach, saves, clicks, views) and adjust strategy
• Collaborative with marketing/sales/design, but able to work independently

As a Marketing Associate, you will:

• Create and publish engaging, high-quality content across digital channels, including social media and blogs
• Plan, film, and post video content for social and web (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc)
• Write monthly blog articles that support SEO, educate customers, and highlight tea culture
• Maintain the content calendar for launches, campaigns, holidays, and partnerships
• Monitor content performance and report what’s working/not working
• Engage with our audience in comments/DMs to build community
• Research trends and competitor activity and bring in ideas
• Make sure everything you create is on-brand in tone, visuals, and message

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or copywriting (internships ok if you have good samples)
• Strong writing skills; you can explain something clearly and in a warm tone
• Experience creating and editing short-form video (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) on mobile or desktop
• Comfortable using basic tools to schedule, track, and organize content (content calendar, IG insights, Google Sheets)
• Detail-oriented and reliable with deadlines
• Interest in Japanese tea, food, or culture, or willingness to learn quickly (bonus if you already know it)
