The Marketing & Brand Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and strengthening the Microtech brand across digital, print, and internal communication channels. This position is responsible for managing projects within the marketing function, coordinating content and campaigns, supporting social media strategy and execution, writing and editing brand-aligned communications, and helping ensure consistent messaging across the company.
This role requires a high-energy, organized, detail-oriented professional who can move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work cross-functionally with departments across the business. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, confident communicator, creative thinker, and reliable executor who thrives in a dynamic, brand-driven environment.
Coordinate and manage marketing-related projects from concept through execution, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and communication stay on track
Develop, write, edit, and publish content across digital and print platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, internal communications, website updates, and promotional materials
Support and manage daily social media activity, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, coordinating responses, and maintaining a consistent brand presence
Build and maintain social media calendars, editorial calendars, campaign timelines, and event-related communication plans
Write clear, polished, and brand-appropriate copy for external and internal audiences
Draft and execute email marketing communications, including announcements, campaigns, newsletters, and branded outreach
Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Relations, Engineering, Operations, Leadership, and other departments to gather information and ensure accurate, timely communication
Support brand consistency across all written, digital, and visual communication channels
Monitor social channels, audience engagement, competitor activity, and relevant market trends to identify opportunities and improve performance
Track and report on marketing and social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
Coordinate content and messaging for company events, advertising, launches, campaigns, and promotions
Review and edit internal and external communications for grammar, clarity, tone, consistency, and alignment with company standards
Maintain organized marketing files, content libraries, and shared assets on internal systems and servers
Reference internal documentation and cross-functional input to ensure product, event, and communication details are accurate
Participate in daily and weekly meetings with Marketing, Sales, and other departments to align priorities and execution
Support a work environment that is creative, entrepreneurial, solutions-focused, team-oriented, and brand-conscious
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred
2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, brand support, project coordination, or digital marketing required
At least 2 years of experience supporting or managing social media content and communication efforts preferred
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create polished, public-facing content
Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
Experience with social media scheduling or content management tools
Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign coordination
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, preferred
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow company procedures and expectations
Understanding of brand voice, audience engagement, and content strategy
Ability to balance creativity with structure, deadlines, and execution
Comfort working in a high-volume environment with evolving priorities
Ability to communicate professionally with leaders, peers, vendors, and external contacts
Strong sense of ownership and urgency
Experience coordinating multiple moving pieces across teams and departments
Ability to maintain consistency and professionalism in all public-facing communications
Projects are completed accurately and on time
Social media and communication efforts remain consistent, professional, and aligned with the Microtech brand
Internal departments receive timely and well-coordinated marketing support
Email campaigns and content pieces are executed with strong attention to detail
Brand messaging stays clear, polished, and consistent across all channels
The marketing team gains a dependable, organized, high-energy contributor who can keep pace with a dynamic environment
