Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Part-time: 25–30 hours/week*

*Potential to grow to full-time position

Pay Range: $20–$24/hour

Reports to: Marketing

Location: Remote in the NorthEast region

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join the HealthyWomen team. This role supports marketing, communications and brand awareness initiatives across our digital and social media channels.

The ideal person is an effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about women’s health, storytelling and mission-driven work. If you enjoy keeping a team organized and working on content that informs and inspires, we’d love to meet you!

Qualifications and Requirements:

Required

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • A proactive, clear communicator who’s comfortable asking questions, managing up and taking initiative.
  • Curious, collaborative and eager to learn about marketing, communications and digital strategy.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Passionate about improving the health and wellness of women.

Preffered

  • Prior experience or an internship in digital marketing, media or communications
  • Coursework or experience in data analytics and/or SEO/GEO
  • Familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, Google Analytics, social analytics dashboards and scheduling platforms
  • Fluent in Spanish/Spanish language proficiency

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of marketing and communications materials, including PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, digital assets, and internal/external communications.

  • Support corporate communications initiatives, including member relations and efforts to elevate the visibility and thought leadership.
  • Provide day-to-day project management support, including file organization, deadline tracking, workflow coordination, and follow-ups across the Marketing & Communications team.
  • Support the planning, logistics, promotion, and execution of speaking engagements, events, webinars, and other brand-building initiatives.
  • Stay current on digital marketing and social media best practices, emerging tools, and platform algorithm updates to inform content and engagement strategies.
  • Conduct audience, trend, and cultural research to support content development and optimize engagement across channels.
  • Monitor, respond to, and route comments and messages across HealthyWomen’s social media platforms in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Assist with content scheduling and maintenance of editorial and social media calendars.
  • Track, organize, and analyze website and social media performance metrics to support ongoing optimization.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and insights.
  • Help prepare regular performance reports and insights for the Marketing & Communications team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
