About the Role
We’re seeking a Marketing and Communications Director to lead strategy, branding, and communications across the organization.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving visibility, engagement, and fundraising through strong storytelling, campaigns, and partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Collaborate
- Manage all marketing functions and priorities
- Partner with internal teams to align messaging and campaigns
- Supervise and mentor marketing staff
- Build systems to track projects, timelines, and deliverables
Drive Brand & Campaigns
- Ensure consistent brand voice, visuals, and messaging
- Lead major campaigns (events, fundraising, anniversary initiatives)
- Create high-impact content (videos, campaigns, storytelling assets)
Support Events & Fundraising
- Partner with Development on fundraising campaigns
- Oversee event marketing and sponsorship materials
- Track performance (attendance, engagement, conversions)
- Manage promotional items (swag + inventory)
Own Digital & Content Strategy
- Oversee website, social media, and email marketing
- Manage newsletters, content calendar, and storytelling
- Lead multimedia efforts (podcasts, video, digital campaigns)
- Video Production
Lead Media & PR
- Build relationships with media outlets
- Pitch stories, send press releases, coordinate interviews
- Monitor coverage and expand visibility
- Respond to media inquiries
Track Data & Impact
- Monitor marketing performance (engagement, reach, ROI)
- Maintain CRM data (DonorView or similar)
- Provide reports and insights to leadership
Oversee Publications & Communications
- Lead production of:
- Annual Report
- Monthly newsletters
- Campaign materials
- Manage year-end donor communications
Support Leadership & Operations
- Coordinate Marketing Committee meetings
- Provide Board-level updates and reports
- Oversee A/V and Zoom for events and meetings
Manage Budget
- Develop and manage marketing budget
- Oversee vendors, materials, and expenses
- Ensure cost-effective, on-budget execution
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5–8+ years of marketing or communications experience
- Experience leading campaigns, branding, and strategy
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Digital marketing + social media expertise
- CRM and email marketing experience (Salesforce/DonorView preferred)
- Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
- Cultural competency and passion for inclusive communities
