Marketing Communications Coordinator

The Marketing Communications Coordinator position is full-time and will be located at the Corporate Office in State College, PA, working primarily Monday through Friday 8am-4p, with flexibility required. Skills of Central PA is a premier health and human services organization. We are looking for a creative and experienced Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Senior Director in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns, developing content for our website and social media channels, and managing the production of promotional materials. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This position also provides administrative support for all board meetings, management retreats and meetings (including meeting notifications, monitoring attendance, material preparation and meeting minutes).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Write and edit content for marketing materials.
  • Help to develop and maintain relationships with media contacts.
  • Assist with manage the organization's social media accounts.
  • Analyze feedback and data to develop strategies for improvement.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Create and distribute press releases.
  • Responsible for coordination of the organization's Board of Director's meetings and Committe meetings, writing and maintaining BOD minutes, etc.
  • Occasional assistance with front desk coverage including mail deliveries, phone coverage, greeting visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred but not required with the right experience
  • Proficiency in marketing strategies and tools, with a focus on digital marketing
  • Proficiency in SEO, social media marketing, and content marketing
  • Experience in multichannel marketing and advertising
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and marketing automation tool.
  • Knowledge of performance marketing
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.56 per hour
