Marketing & Communications Manager (Part-Time)Innovative Healthcare Institute (IHCI)

Our activities include educational programs, webinars, professional networks, journals, workforce development initiatives, and healthcare consulting projects.
We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and self-directed Marketing & Communications Manager to help coordinate marketing, communications, websites, and event promotion activities across our growing portfolio of programs and initiatives.
Position Overview
This part-time position focuses on marketing coordination, communications, website management, digital content development, and promotion of educational programs and events.
The successful candidate will help ensure that marketing activities across multiple programs are cohesive, organized, professionally executed, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Planning & Coordination
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing and communications plan.
· Maintain a master marketing calendar across organizational activities.
· Coordinate marketing efforts across multiple programs and initiatives.
· Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and communications.
· Help identify opportunities to improve visibility, engagement, and outreach.
Website Management
· Manage and update WordPress websites.
· Create and maintain program pages, event pages, landing pages, and announcements.
· Ensure websites remain current, organized, and visually appealing.
· Support website enhancements and user experience improvements.
· Monitor website traffic and performance.
Event & Webinar Marketing
· Create event landing pages and registration forms.
· Coordinate webinar and event marketing campaigns.
· Develop and execute mass email campaigns.
· Create event graphics, flyers, and promotional materials.
· Create speaker spotlight graphics and promotional posts.
· Develop PowerPoint templates and branded presentation materials.
· Coordinate pre-event and post-event communications.
· Support promotion of educational resources and event recordings.
Communications & Content Development
· Draft newsletters, announcements, and marketing communications.
· Develop promotional content for educational programs, journals, and organizational initiatives.
· Coordinate content across websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
· Maintain marketing templates and communication assets.
Social Media Management
· Create and schedule social media content.
· Coordinate promotion of programs, events, publications, and organizational initiatives.
· Develop graphics and promotional materials for social media.
· Support cross-promotion among organizational programs and platforms.
· Monitor engagement and recommend improvements.
Analytics & Reporting
· Track website traffic, email campaign performance, social media engagement, and event registrations.
· Prepare periodic marketing activity reports.
· Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience in healthcare marketing, healthcare education marketing, healthcare publishing, healthcare consulting, medical societies, healthcare associations, or related healthcare organizations.
· Experience managing WordPress websites.
· Experience developing and executing mass email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar tools.
· Experience creating landing pages and online registration forms.
· Experience creating social media content and digital marketing materials.
· Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
· Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience promoting webinars, conferences, CME activities, or professional education programs.
· Experience with healthcare nonprofits, professional associations, journals, or educational organizations.
· Experience with marketing analytics and reporting.
· Familiarity with healthcare, oncology, quality improvement, research, or professional development programs.
