Marketing & Content Intern — Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Revive & Renew Remodeling is a design-build remodeling company focused on high-quality kitchens, bath renovations, and additions in East & North Dallas. We're craftsmanship-driven, process-focused, and serious about client experience.

This internship's primary focus is Revive & Renew Remodeling, with secondary support for two affiliated brands: Dallas Cabinet Studio (custom cabinet manufacturing studio) and Cutterly Designs (Ecommerce). Roughly 60% of your time will go to R&R, with the remainder split across the other two brands. You'll learn how marketing works across three very different worlds — a premium home remodeler, a cabinet studio, and a handmade product brand — all under one Marketing Director.

The role

This is a hands-on content and growth internship for someone who can capture, edit, publish, and help run our marketing engine. You'll work directly with our Marketing Director, who sets strategy and brand voice — your job is to execute the pipeline that brings it to life and help us grow R&R's presence on Google, social media, AI search platforms, and Houzz.

Job type: Part-time internship

Pay: $23–$25 per hour (approximately $2,000/month at 20 hrs/week)

Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Schedule: Weekday hours, on-site, with scheduled jobsite shoot days

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX — in office days, remote, and travel to active R&R jobsites for content capture

Duration: 3-month internship with opportunity to extend

What success looks like (90 days)

  • A consistent, repeatable content pipeline for R&R, with secondary cadence for DCS and Cutterly
  • R&R's Google Business Profile, Houzz page, and website content optimized for local search
  • R&R appearing in more relevant searches across Google and AI-powered search tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)
  • A clean, organized photo/video library by project and by brand
  • Review and testimonial requests going out regularly for R&R
  • An email newsletter launched and growing, with a working list-building mechanism on the website

What you'll do

Content creation (primary focus)

  • Film and capture content at R&R jobsites — progress, details, process, before/after
  • Edit and publish short-form video (Reels-first) for all three brands
  • Shoot product photography for Cutterly Designs — flat lay, lifestyle, and e-commerce shots
  • Schedule posts and stories across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Maintain a shared content calendar aligned to active projects, product launches, and seasons

SEO and search visibility (R&R)

  • Optimize and maintain R&R's Google Business Profile (posts, photos, Q&A, services)
  • Write on-brand meta descriptions, image alt text, and blog post drafts targeting keywords identified by the Marketing Director
  • Help build and execute a content plan designed to surface R&R in AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) by producing structured, helpful content
  • Track basic search visibility metrics weekly

Houzz and directory presence (R&R)

  • Update and maintain the R&R Houzz page — project galleries, descriptions, services
  • Upload completed projects to Houzz with proper tagging and descriptions
  • Engage with the Houzz community (reviews, ideabook activity)
  • Maintain consistency across other directories (Yelp, Angi, etc.) as needed

Organization & assets

  • Organize photos and videos by project and by brand in a shared drive (raw + edited + best-of)
  • Update product listings on the Cutterly Designs site
  • Create simple marketing assets in Canva as needed (highlight PDFs, one-sheets, launch graphics, newsletter graphics)

What we're looking for

Required:

  • A portfolio showing short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, or similar)
  • Product or lifestyle photography experience
  • Hands-on experience with at least one e-commerce or website platform (Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress)
  • Strong written communication and good "taste" — knows what feels premium vs. gimmicky
  • Comfortable on construction jobsites and able to capture content quickly without disrupting production
  • Organized and consistent — can run a repeatable weekly process across multiple brands
  • Able to commute reliably to our Dallas location and to local jobsites
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, film, communications, or related field.
  • Experience with CapCut
  • Familiarity with SEO basics: Google Business Profile, keywords, meta descriptions, alt text
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, Flodesk)
  • Experience with Houzz, Angi, or other home services directories
  • Canva and basic graphic design skills
  • Interest in home design, interiors, or handmade goods
