Purpose :

The Arabic Marketing & Product Content Editor plays a vital role in delivering consistent, high-quality product titles and descriptions for GMG’s Arabic-speaking customers across all digital platforms. This role ensures alignment with the brand’s tone of voice and supports SEO optimization. Additionally, the editor supports the Senior Marketing Content Editor in translating key marketing messages, including emails, push notifications, banners, and paid advertisements


Job Description :


Product Content Translation & Adaptation

  • Translate and adapt product titles and descriptions into Arabic, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance


SEO-Friendly Product Copywriting

  • Ensure all product titles and descriptions are SEO optimized, compelling, and engaging to enhance discoverability


Product Information Management

  • Utilize Akeneo efficiently to upload, update, and manage product descriptions across platform


Product Content Tracking & Updates

  • Maintain and update the product content tracker to ensure timely content delivery and management


Arabic Marketing Content Creation

  • Develop engaging Arabic marketing content including email newsletters, push notifications, paid ads, banners, and blogs, supporting ad-hoc translations


Content Proofreading & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct thorough proofreading and audits to maintain high standards of product content accuracy and quality


Consistency Across Product Pages

  • Ensure consistent and high-quality content on Product Detail Pages (PDP) and Product Listing Pages (PLP) across all brand


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with Product Data & Catalogue team, Studio and Category team, to gather accurate product data and align on launch timelines, ensuring product content is brand-aligned, consistent, and optimized across all customer-facing platforms


Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Track and report on product content readiness, accuracy, and volume to ensure targets and launch dates are met
