Reports To -Marketing Technology & Communications Leader

Location - Remote (U.S.) or Hybrid – Shelton, Connecticut Corporate Office

Position Summary / Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to support our established brand and creative vision across digital and print channels. Reporting to the Marketing Technology & Communications Leader, this role focuses on delivering high-quality, impactful marketing and sales content aligned with brand standards and business objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, precision, and structured execution. You will create new digital and print content, prepare press-ready files, edit video, maintain website assets, and publish social content, while keeping projects moving forward using tools such as Smartsheet.

Prior industry experience is not required. We will provide onboarding to ensure your success representing our brand, product lines, industry, and ISO-driven file version control processes.

Key Responsibilities

Print Content Design & Production

  • Design print materials as directed.
  • Prepare files for professional printing, including bleed, trim, resolution, and color requirements.
  • Export press-ready documents according to vendor specifications.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, inDesign, Photoshop) required.

Digital Content Design

  • Create new digital assets for web, social media, presentations, and campaigns.
  • Produce content aligned with established brand standards and creative direction.
  • Prepare graphics and files for digital distribution.
  • Canva required.

Video & Multimedia Production

  • Edit existing footage to produce short-form and medium-length videos (up to ~15 minutes).
  • Update legacy videos as needed.
  • Prepare video files for web, social media, and online distribution.
  • CapCut and YouTube required.

Website Content Updates

  • Update existing website content, including text, images, and downloadable documents.
  • Replace outdated materials and maintain accuracy of published information.
  • Upload and manage media assets to the Five Star website media library.
  • Ensure content updates follow established formatting and quality standards.
  • WordPress required.

Social Media Production & Publishing

  • Produce visual assets for social media content.
  • Publish and schedule approved social media posts.
  • Format posts according to platform requirements.
  • Schedule content in alignment with established best practices.
  • LinkedIn, Pallyy required.

Marketing Operations Support

  • Manage strict version control and asset organization in accordance with ISO processes.
  • Organize and catalog photography and video assets from field activities and scheduled shoots.
  • Track tasks and timelines to keep projects moving forward.
  • Prepare URL shortened links and QR codes.
  • Place print material and promotional item orders with vendors, obtaining approval prior to production.
  • Bitly, Uniqode, Smartsheet required.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience (marketing, design, or related field).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience preparing print-ready files.
  • Working knowledge of Canva, WordPress, Pallyy, Bitly, Uniqode, Smartsheet.
  • Video editing experience using CapCut or similar (short-form and medium-length content).

· Experience coordinating LinkedIn posts or social media campaigns.

· Familiarity with WordPress content editing.

· Comfortable using AI platforms to assist with content creation while evaluating output for accuracy.

  • Adept at learning new SaaS platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow our ISO-driven version control processes.
  • Portfolio required.

Bonus Qualifications

· Photography and/or videography skills.

· Experience in B2B or technical industrie

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
