Overview
You’ll be a doer: creating content, coordinating projects, and keeping the marketing engine running. You’ll work closely with our external marketing consultant (who sets strategy and hosts our website) and interface with the President and internal stakeholders to execute campaigns and publish across our channels. This role is ideal for a creative self-starter with strong organization and deadline management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our external consultant to translate strategy into weekly tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Draft, edit, and publish content (short posts, blogs, product spotlights, case studies).
  • Manage the content calendar; schedule and post to LinkedIn and other channels; monitor engagement and respond/route inquiries.
  • Update CMS with new content, images, video etc
  • Coordinate light design needs (social graphics, one-pagers, etc.
  • Support email and outreach campaigns.
  • Collect metrics (web, social, email) and prepare simple performance summaries and recommendations.
  • Maintain brand assets, product images, and content folders; ensure version control and naming conventions.
  • Coordinate vendors (photographers, printers, freelancers) and internal SMEs to hit deadlines.
  • Document processes and help improve workflows as we scale the marketing function.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years in a marketing coordinator/associate or content role (B2B preferred).
  • Excellent content creation/writing and editing skills; able to adapt technical info into clear, engaging content.
  • Proficiency with: CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or similar), Social scheduling (native or tools like Buffer/Hootsuite), Email (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar), Design basics (Canva or Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop), Analytics (Google Analytics, platform insights, simple dashboards)
  • Strong project management and deadline discipline; comfortable working from a prioritized task list.
  • Nice to have: basic SEO, light HTML/CSS familiarity, experience in manufacturing/industrial, life sciences, or semiconductor supply chain.

Work Style & Location

  • Hybrid: Must be able to spend time in our San Carlos, CA office on a regular basis for coordination, content creation, and meetings.
  • Comfortable working under direction of an external consultant and partnering with executive leadership.
  • Reliable, proactive communicator who asks smart questions and follows through.

Schedule & Engagement

  • Part-time, 20–25 hours per week.
  • Open to employee or 1099 contractor arrangements.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and engagement type.
