ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Social Media — responsible for implementing and updating social media content that bridges online and offline social networks, drives brand awareness, fosters positive online communications and builds brand equity while safeguarding brand reputation through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. and advising the Director of Marketing of new online and social media opportunities.

Search — participate in monitoring online brand reputation and enhancing search engine marketing by supplementing free and paid listings with pay-per-click and sponsored content campaigns to optimize brand visibility. Through online listings, various social media platforms and reputation management.

Digital/Email Marketing—database increase of emails, monthly outgoing emails from the database to include monthly newsletter, promotional piece, informative piece and statistical tracking of effectiveness of the email marketing program.

Mobile — responsible for adding content to our mobile marketing strategy that penetrates evolving email and mobile technology, drives brand awareness, and enhances digital marketing communications through SMS marketing, QR codes and mobile apps.

Networking Functions—attend Chamber of Commerce functions, perform administrative duties for home shows and attend other group meetings to promote the company as directed.

Graphics—create internal and external promotional and marketing pieces as assigned. Gather content for promotions, including retrieving and acquiring, photos and video footage, content from internal departments indirectly or directly. Responsible for all new employee onboarding marketing initiatives.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read and write in English
  • Experience in Content and Creative Writing
  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • Skill in operating a personal computer, programs with proficient keyboarding
  • Self-Motivated, task oriented and results driven
  • Proficient in Adobe Programs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required;
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
  • A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
