Marketing Coordinator – Center for Spiritual Living Colorado Springs
The Center for Spiritual Living Colorado Springs (CSLCS) is seeking a creative, strategic, community-minded Marketing Coordinator to help expand our reach and impact. This role is ideal for someone who loves digital storytelling, community building, and using marketing to make the world a little more connected, compassionate, and inspired. This is an in-house position and requires working on site at the Center.
About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator develops and implements marketing strategies that grow our community, amplify our message, and support people on their spiritual journey. You will bring together digital tools, social engagement, content creation, and community outreach to welcome spiritually curious individuals into a thriving, inclusive community.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Presence & Growth
- Manage social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and create platform-specific content (reels, short videos, livestreams, testimonials, event coverage).
Community Outreach & Partnerships
- Build relationships with local wellness, nonprofit, arts, education, and interfaith organizations.
- Promote CSLCS through shared events, newsletters, volunteer days, and outreach platforms like Meetup and Eventbrite.
Lead Nurturing & Engagement
- Create visitor follow-up emails, welcome sequences, and targeted messages.
- Grow email lists using value-based content, guides, and event invitations.
- Support Sunday service marketing, quarterly volunteer events, classes, workshops, and youth/family programming.
Events & Experience Marketing
- Develop promotional plans for services, workshops, holidays, and community events.
- Use visuals, storytelling, and social media campaigns to increase attendance.
- Collaborate with volunteers, staff, and ministry leaders to showcase CSL-CS’s heart and community spirit.
- Post weekly updates, photos, and videos; repurpose content for maximum reach.
- Support website updates and publish weekly SEO-based blog posts.

- Weekly Sunday attendance growth (in-person and online).
- Increased first-time visitors and improved visitor-to-member conversion.
- Growth in email lists and social media followers across all platforms.
- Stronger volunteer engagement and turnout for quarterly events.
- Consistent, compelling branding and messaging across platforms.
Requirements
- Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with digital marketing, social media management, or content creation.
- Comfort with video creation, email platforms, and basic SEO practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a values-based, mission-driven environment.
- Creativity, initiative, curiosity, and ability to work with diverse spiritual audiences.
- Able to work on-site
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years in marketing, communications, or related roles; experience in content creation, social media, email campaigns, or community engagement preferred.
- Skills & Tools: Strong writing, storytelling, and multimedia skills; experience creating graphics, videos, and social media content. Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools, as well as email marketing platforms and basic analytics.
- Campaign & Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and track campaigns, manage schedules, coordinate vendors, and follow up on marketing initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; training in marketing, communications, or nonprofit work is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 – 22.0 per week
