Role Overview:
Lightning Docs is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives across content, social media, email campaigns, events, and reporting. The role combines project management, content support, and marketing operations to ensure campaigns and projects run efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated by opportunities to learn, tackle new challenges, and continuously develop their skills.

Lightning Docs is a fast-growing SaaS platform used by private lenders across the country to generate accurate, compliant loan documents in minutes. Designed to eliminate manual work and streamline workflows, Lightning Docs supports lenders as they scale into new markets and increase loan volume. Our platform is trusted by many of the industry’s largest and most successful private lenders and has generated tens of thousands of loans each year.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Track marketing initiatives across multiple channels and projects
  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and deliverables for content, campaigns, and events
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to keep projects on schedule
  • Maintain organized documentation of processes, assets, and approvals

Content & Communications

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting social media content
  • Support newsletter creation and email campaigns in Mailchimp/Zoho
  • Assist in updating and uploading website content using WordPress.
  • Maintain brand consistency across marketing materials

Data & Reporting

  • Update and format monthly data reports and presentations
  • Track campaign performance and maintain reporting dashboards
  • Assist with basic analytics tracking (website, social, email)

Events Support

  • Manage registrations for conferences and sponsorships
  • Coordinate printed collateral and event logistics
  • Support social media posting during events

Marketing Operations Support

  • Assist with CRM management, surveys, and contact updates
  • Support marketing automation workflows and campaigns
  • Handle light design work using templates (Canva, PowerPoint)
  • Collaborate with vendors (design agencies, printers) as needed

Requirements & Skills:

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. Experience with Asana or other project management tools a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
  • Basic design skills and familiarity with Canva or similar tools
  • Experience creating and managing content for LinkedIn, Instagram, or other social channels.
  • Experience building and sending campaigns in email platforms such as Mailchimp.
  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems quickly
  • Must be able to work on-site full-time during onboarding and training. After that, the role includes occasional work-from-home flexibility.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Exposure to paid advertising campaigns (social or search)
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Experience with reporting/analytics tools
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, with Zoho experience considered a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
