Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the internal marketing, branding, and communication efforts of Landslide Political and its affiliated companies. This role manages company social media, maintains branding assets and documents, collaborates with contractors and vendors, and provides creative and operational support to the Business Development department. The Coordinator will also support company website updates, organize digital assets, assist with events, and help build internal documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The marketing coordinator will report to the Senior Director of People and Operations and the Senior Director of Client Success and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Presence
Plan, create, and schedule content for Landslide’s social media channels.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.
Track performance metrics and provide monthly analytics reports.
Monitor engagement and support community management.
Create strategic marketing campaigns for deployment.
Manage routine updates to the company website (content, photos, announcements, etc.).
Coordinate with outside web developers or vendors for larger updates or improvements.
Ensure web content reflects current branding and company messaging.
Branding & Creative Assets
Maintain and update all brand documents, style guides, and templates.
Create or coordinate the creation of marketing materials (one-pagers, decks, proposals, newsletters, etc.).
Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external materials.
Ensure brand consistency across all field materials that are client facing.
Ensure branding is correct and assist BDC in creating templates for pitch decks, proposals, presentations.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Identify, research, and recommend potential marketing vendors and creative contractors.
Maintain a directory of approved vendors and manage vendor onboarding documents.
Serve as the point of contact between vendors and internal teams.
Track vendor timelines, deliverables, and performance.
Provide expertise and knowledge about marketing trends and strategies for internal use and client use upon request.
Project & Operations Support
Maintain an organized workflow for all marketing tasks and projects.
Support company-sponsored events, meetings, webinars, and internal trainings.
Assist with logistics, materials, promotional content, and follow-up communication.
Record and document content, information, and statistics for use in promotional materials while projects are in progress.
Work with Business Development on client engagement on and off-boarding surveys, testimonials, etc, to promote Landslide.
Upon request, in a limited capacity, may have to create and deploy mailers, social media posts or materials for candidates or clients.
If the request is too extensive, it is the responsibility of the MC to utilize vendors or additional resources, with the goal always being to return the focus away from client work and back to Landslide work.
When needed, direct communication with clients, vendors, HQ staff and anyone else needed to ensure successful project completion on time and within budget. This may require multiple calls, emails, texts, or a combination of all three, and may need to be repeated several times.
Maintain organized digital folders for brand assets, photos, templates, and creative resources.
Ensure assets are up-to-date and easily accessible to internal teams.
Internal Documentation & SOPs
Build or edit internal documentation such as SOPs, process guides, and workflow documents.
Help formalize marketing and vendor-related processes across the organization.
Project & Operations Support
Maintain an organized workflow for all marketing and branding projects.
Help coordinate cross-team communication related to branding or vendor work.
Provide general administrative and creative support as needed.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, branding, or related fields.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Basic design skills (Canva is fine; Adobe Suite is a plus).
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work with external vendors and manage multiple priorities.
Comfort working in a political, campaign, or fast-paced environment is a plus (but not required).
