Position Specifics:
Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: President
Supervises: None
Purpose:
Define, manage, and enhance the dealership image and brand in the market. Leads efforts to better understand, attract, and retain customers. Develop and manage both strategic and tactical marketing strategies in order to promote the dealership products and services through targeted efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the development and implementation of a marketing plan
- Develop a brand strategy and manage the dealership’s perception in the marketplace including the development, implementation, and enhancement of the dealer brand
- Implement the dealership’s marketing strategies by leveraging resources which delivers the dealership’s values, mission, and goals
- Lead the development, communication, and assessment of marketing tactics and strategies (advertising, promotions, incentives, events, etc.) that reach targeted prospects
- Monitor market trends and may also utilize customer insight technologies such as CRM applications to gain deeper customer understanding
- Define customer segments and determines how to pursue segments through targeted solutions and services required
- Manage the customer experience process (customer focus groups, customer satisfaction surveys, etc.)
- Define and manage advertise budget; develop monthly, quarterly, and annual advertising activities (TV, radio, online, social media, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between the dealership and manufacturing marketing personnel and leverages manufacturing marketing resources
- Plans and coordinates logistics, communications, and activities for sales events, customer experience events, meetings, or focus groups including the documentation of best practices
- Order and distribute promotional materials for the dealership (i.e. banners, brochures, brand apparel etc.)
- Ensure appropriate marketing and public relations communications for all departments
- Leads the development and implementation of a merchandising and display strategy
- Maintain all Online and Social Media fronts
- All other assigned duties
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 5+ years sales and/or marketing experience
- 3+ years of graphic design
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
- Proven ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and within a group
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret internal and external marketing reports
- Familiar with statistical analytic applications and market research practices preferred
- Ability to be creative and innovative preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience
