SGM is hiring a marketing coordinator to join our team in the Glenwood Springs, CO office. As a member of the marketing team, this individual assists with firmwide marketing and business development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with foundational marketing experience who is eager to learn, comfortable following direction, and excited to work collaboratively across teams.

We are seeking a resourceful, organized, creative, and enthusiastic professional to support our Marketing Manager across a wide range of marketing initiatives.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in technical marketing content creation, social media, website updates, and CRM in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate is growth-oriented, with graphic design experience and a sharp eye for detail, and can create visually compelling, on-brand materials. This role also requires strong writing and grammar skills, experience with social media, and an interest in telling the story of SGM, its employees, clients, and projects. Graphic design competency and/or AEC industry experience is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to support proposal and qualifications efforts
• Create and edit marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite
• Assist with social media marketing, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement
• Maintain and update the firm website
• Help maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels
• Support the Marketing team to plan and coordinate special events
• Manage the client holiday gift program
• Support the Marketing Manager with internal marketing initiatives

Job Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Business (or equivalent experience)
• 0-7+ years of relevant experience (including internships or entry-level roles)
• Relevant internships or hands-on experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design are highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to prepare written and visual promotional materials and/or marketing proposals
• Basic understanding of digital, social, and content marketing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva. Graphic design competency highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing, proofreading, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Excellent time management skills. Must be comfortable in a deadline-driven role with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced team environment

• Ability to follow directions, accept feedback, and execute efficiently
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development

Salary DOE

0-7 years $28.85-$37.00/hr

7+ years $37.00-$46.00/hr
