MARKETING COORDINATOR (Founding Team Member)
Volunteer Leadership Support Position
Organization: BeYOUtiful Inc.
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Virtual collaboration with occasional attendance at organizational events)
Reports To: Director of Marketing & Communications
Time Commitment: Approximately 5-10 hours per week, with increased involvement during major events, campaigns, and organizational initiatives.
Preferred Commitment: Candidates willing to make a long-term commitment (approximately one year or longer) are encouraged to apply.

POSITION OVERVIEW
BeYOUtiful is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing & Communications Department.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role helps coordinate marketing initiatives, support organizational communications, collect and organize content, assist with promotional campaigns, and help share the stories that bring BeYOUtiful's mission to life.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, content development, communications, project coordination, and helping mission-driven organizations increase their visibility and community impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Development & Storytelling
- Help identify and collect stories that highlight BeYOUtiful's mission, programs, volunteers, participants, sponsors, and community impact.
- Assist in developing content for newsletters, promotional campaigns, organizational communications, and marketing initiatives.
- Gather photos, testimonials, event highlights, and community success stories.
- Support the creation of graphics, presentations, flyers, and marketing materials.
- Help maintain a consistent organizational voice and brand presence.
Communications Support
- Assist with email communications, newsletters, organizational announcements, and event communications.
- Help organize communication schedules and content calendars.
- Support outreach efforts related to organizational initiatives, programs, and events.
- Assist with maintaining communication templates and marketing resources.
Marketing Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications on campaign planning and execution.
- Assist in promoting organizational programs, events, volunteer opportunities, sponsorship initiatives, and community partnerships.
- Help coordinate marketing materials needed by other departments.
- Support branding and awareness efforts that increase community engagement.
Digital Content Support
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager by providing content, event information, photos, testimonials, and organizational updates for digital campaigns.
- Assist in gathering and organizing content that supports social media, marketing, and communications efforts.
- Help identify stories and community impact moments that can be shared across organizational platforms.
- Support digital marketing initiatives as needed.
Marketing Operations
- Maintain marketing calendars, content schedules, and organizational assets.
- Help organize photo libraries, marketing resources, and promotional materials.
- Assist with tracking engagement metrics and campaign performance.
- Support department projects and special initiatives.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to execute department priorities.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather content and support organizational initiatives.
- Participate in department meetings and planning discussions.
- Contribute ideas and creative solutions that help strengthen organizational visibility and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include:
- Passion for women's empowerment, community development, and nonprofit service.
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing, communications, social media, content creation, or public relations.
- Experience with Canva, photography, graphic design, email marketing, writing, or digital marketing is preferred but not required.
- Students, emerging professionals, career changers, and experienced volunteers are encouraged to apply.
