We’re two independent, locally owned boutique hotels in Seattle - the Belltown Inn and the Mediterranean Inn. While we share ownership and often collaborate, we operate as two separate legal entities, each with its own distinct personality, team, and guest base. What we share is a philosophy rooted in genuine hospitality, local charm, and a deep connection to the city we call home.

We’re proud of our reputations and are looking for a marketing professional who understands how to celebrate what makes Seattle unique while helping both of our hotels stand out in a competitive market.

What We’re Looking For
We’re not just hiring a marketer - we’re looking for a collaborator. Someone who can bring their expertise to the table while also working closely with two separate management teams to understand our goals, listen to feedback, and provide honest, professional guidance.

We want someone who:

  • Lives in or near Seattle and understands the culture, community, and what travelers to this city value.
  • Gets boutique hospitality - someone who can market experiences, not just rooms.
  • Listens first, strategizes second. You’ll take the time to understand each property’s brand voice, guest base, and business realities.
  • Embraces our culture and values. You’ll work with two engaged, collaborative teams that value integrity, respect, and open communication — we want someone who thrives in that environment.
  • Communicates clearly and openly. You’re comfortable saying, “Here’s what will work, and here’s why,” even if it challenges our initial ideas.
  • Balances creativity with practicality. You know how to turn ideas into results without unnecessary fluff or wasted spend.
  • Has experience in digital and local marketing - including social media, SEO, content creation, and partnerships with local businesses or attractions.

The Role

You’ll support both properties by:

  • Developing and executing ongoing marketing strategies tailored to each hotel’s audience and goals.
  • Strengthening our online presence through social media, website updates, and digital campaigns.
  • Identifying and managing local collaborations and partnerships that align with our brands.
  • Providing insights and reports to help us understand what’s working - and what’s not.
  • Supporting creative projects (video, photography, copywriting, etc.) that reflect an authentic Seattle experience.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, salaried position supporting two independent Seattle properties.

  • Starting salary: $81,000 annually
  • This role will require regular in-person collaboration between both hotel teams, as well as independent work time for planning and content creation.

Important Note:

Even though this role supports both hotels, your employment, pay, and benefits will be administered through one hotel. The salary and benefits listed reflect compensation for the entire combined role.
