Objective: The key objective of the post is to support the marketing department in executing key campaigns and projects and supporting the overall university. The role focuses on creating engaging visual and written content, including graphic design and email marketing materials, to enhance brand visibility and support student recruitment and other engagement initiatives.

Reports to: Marketing Manager & the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development.

Key interfaces: Marketing Specialist, Manager of Admissions and Student Recruitment, Manager of Communications, RCSI Bahrain staff.

This position requires a high degree of cross-functional liaison other internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design digital and print marketing materials including booklets, brochures, and social media posts.
• Create and manage content for email marketing campaigns, including copywriting and design.
• Support digital media paid advertising campaigns and performance review.
• Support the marketing team with website content development, website updates and performance monitoring.
• Support internal teams with design and video development requests.
• Support the Marketing Specialist with the implementation of the marketing strategy, including but not limited to administrative tasks, preparing content and internal & external communications.

Others:

• Ensure that all RCSI and RCSI Bahrain policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Undergoing programmes of training and development as may be required from time to time.
• Representing the best interest of RCSI and RCSI Bahrain at all times.
• Performing such other duties as may be required from time to time.


Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Web Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, Premeire).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
• Highly motivated with an ability to work on his/her own initiative.
• An ability to adapt to the needs of a busy and changing environment, act decisively and prioritize several initiatives to meet deadlines.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to focus on, and produce results.
• Ability to act decisively and meet deadlines.
• Enthusiasm & drive to succeed in continuing to deliver the vision of the RCSI Brand and University.
• Strong commitment to own continuous personal and professional development.
• Experience in marketing or digital communications, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
