We’re looking for a Marketing & Design Manager who thrives on turning ideas into visuals that inspire action. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality marketing materials for print and digital channels. flyers, posters, newsletters, ads, and signage that reflect YMCA branding and mission.
  • Manage print production, mailings, and vendor relationships from concept through delivery.
  • Manage facility signage and visual displays to ensure brand consistency and professional presentation.
  • Maintain organized digital file libraries and ensure up-to-date design assets are available for staff use.
  • Support internal and external communications through clear, engaging copy and visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan, design, and schedule social media content.
  • Update website content and images to support ongoing campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Assist with photo and video shoots, editing, and preparation for use across marketing channels.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all materials reflect YMCA standards for design, tone, and accessibility.
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support for marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Salary & Benefits

This full-time, exempt-level position generally works Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually, based on experience.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing, or communications; nonprofit or community-based experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and familiarity with Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with website content management systems (WordPress or similar), email marketing tools (Constant Contact, Mailchimp), and social media management platforms (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, branding, typography, color, and accessibility standards.
  • Skilled in managing print and digital production, including vendor coordination, proofing, and delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and brand voice.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
