Position Overview

We’re hiring a Marketing Director to own our growth engine end-to-end. You’ll set the strategy, manage the budget, lead execution (in-house and with partners), and report clear results—from impressions to booked revenue. The ideal candidate blends creative direction with performance rigor, turns field work into compelling content, and scales demand across seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Build the annual/quarterly marketing plan, forecast pipeline, and allocate channel budgets (paid social, search, LSA, OTT/CTV, radio, print/EDDM, sponsorships).
  • Demand Gen & Performance: Launch and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google Search/LSA, Retargeting, YouTube/OTT; manage keywords, audiences, offers, and landing pages to hit CPL/CAC targets.
  • Website & SEO: Own site performance (speed, UX, conversion rate), SEO roadmap (content, local citations, backlinks), and our Google Business Profile.
  • Content & Brand: Lead a consistent brand voice and visual system; produce a high-tempo content calendar (photo/video/case studies/reviews/before-afters) from real job sites.
  • Lifecycle & CRM: Build email/SMS nurture, referral and review programs, and simple automations; partner with operations to ensure fast lead response and accurate attribution in CRM.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Stand up dashboards (GA4, GSC, ad platforms, call tracking/LSA) and report weekly on CPL, ROAS, lead-to-book, job value, and revenue attribution.
  • Partnerships: Manage agencies, freelancers, printers, and media buys; negotiate rates and hold vendors to KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor a Marketing Assistant/Coordinator and cross-functional contributors; establish SOPs, briefs, and QA for on-brand, on-time delivery.
  • Community & PR: Activate local sponsorships, events, and press moments that reinforce our safety, professionalism, and ISA-Certified reputation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in growth/brand marketing (home services, trades, or multi-location/local a strong plus).
  • Proven ownership of a performance funnel with measurable improvements in CPL, CAC, and conversion rate.
  • Hands-on with GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads/LSA, Meta Business Suite, basic SEO tools (GSC, Ahrefs/Moz), and call tracking.
  • Strong creative judgment (briefing, storyboarding, short-form video) and copy skills.
  • CRM familiarity (lead routing, pipeline hygiene, attribution); marketing automation/email (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Organized operator: roadmap, budgets, vendor management, clear reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license; comfortable gathering content on active job sites (PPE provided).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in arboriculture, landscaping, construction, or other field-service industries.
  • Basic editing (Premiere/CapCut), Canva/Adobe CC.
  • Knowledge of local advertising (EDDM, radio, OTT) and sponsorship activation.
