Marketing Effectiveness Specialist - META

This is a role within the Castrol organization, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Marketing Effectiveness Specialist to join our META team. In this role, you will work closely with the Strategic Pricing & Marketing Effectiveness Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of marketing activities across the region.

This role is ideal for someone with strong potential, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn, rather than extensive prior experience. You will gain hands-on experience in marketing operations, campaign performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration, combining structured project coordination with insight-driven thinking to support better business decisions.

What you will deliver

• Support the end-to-end planning and execution of marketing projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are effectively tracked
• Coordinate meetings, stakeholder communication, and follow-ups to maintain seamless project progress
• Assist in monitoring marketing campaign performance and translating data into clear, actionable insights
• Contribute to campaign analysis, identifying areas of success and opportunities for improvement
• Help integrate performance takeaways into future marketing plans and initiatives
• Support the development of measurement approaches for campaigns and activities
• Maintain documentation and contribute to improving processes to enhance team efficiency

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience gained through internships, academic projects, or early professional exposure in marketing, project coordination, or related areas
• Strong business curiosity, with an analytical approach and the ability to translate data into significant business insights
• Basic understanding of how marketing campaigns are planned and executed
• Exposure to working with data (e.g., Excel, reports, dashboards) and an interest in understanding and improving marketing performance
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with eagerness to learn quickly
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Experience in stakeholder management, working with external agencies, or exposure to industrial sectors and market dynamics would be considered a plus.
