Position Overview

Matlay is looking for enthusiastic and creative Marketing Interns to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of social media platforms and the food industry. This role requires both on-site office work and outdoor marketing activities, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and creating marketing content.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Support in planning and executing marketing campaigns
• Visit partner locations and assist in outdoor promotional activities
• Create engaging content including photos, videos, and captions related to food and restaurants
• Conduct basic market research on food trends and competitors
• Help coordinate marketing events, collaborations, and promotional campaigns
• Monitor social media engagement and customer feedback

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated in Marketing, Business, Media, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing and content creation
• Interest or basic understanding of the food and restaurant industry
• Willingness to participate in outdoor marketing activities and field visits
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Basic photography and video creation skills
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
• Understanding of social media trends and hashtags
• Team-oriented and proactive attitude
