Marketing Intern

SOSA is seeking a creative, data-driven, and energetic Marketing Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be hands-on in executing our global marketing strategy, working closely with our marketing team to manage our digital presence and tell the story of innovation. You will play a pivotal role in amplifying the success of our corporate clients, global innovation hubs and startup programs, focusing on content creation, and translating complex breakthroughs into compelling narratives.

Who you are:

• Educational Background: Currently a student or a recent grad in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Experience with Design is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Native-level English is a must. You can turn complex tech concepts into clear, engaging content.
• Tech and AI Fluency: Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn is a must) and marketing tools. Experience with Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Gen-AI is a major plus. 
• Proactive Mindset: You are a self-starter who is eager to learn. You don’t wait for instructions; you look for ways to add value.
• Interest in Innovation: A genuine passion for the world of startups, venture capital, and technology.

What you’ll do:

• Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram). Draft engaging copy, create compelling and eye catching graphics, schedule posts, and engage with our community.
• Content Creation: Help create compelling content for our socials, blog, newsletters, and collateral. This includes writing, editing, and basic graphic design (using tools like Canva).
• AI & Lead Generation: Manage our stack of marketing AI tools to optimize workflows and assist in lead generation efforts using AI research and inbound strategies
• Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and social media efforts to provide actionable insights.
• Database Management: Help maintain our CRM (HubSpot) to ensure our network data is clean and organized.

Compensation

• This is a paid internship, with compensation ranging from $17–$20 per hour, based on experience.
• You will be reporting to the VP Marketing
