Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will own the rollout of our new brand and serve as the driving force behind our marketing and business development efforts. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: from shaping the firm’s marketing roadmap to creating campaigns that generate qualified leads, elevate client experiences, and position Founders as the go-to advisor for family-owned businesses.

You’ll work closely with firm leadership and practice group leaders to identify opportunities, tell compelling stories, and build visibility that translates into relationships. Key Responsibilities

Brand Leadership & Strategy

  • Roll out and embed Founders’ refreshed brand across all channels, materials, and experiences.
  • Define and execute a marketing strategy that supports growth goals and drives new business opportunities.
  • Protect brand integrity while also identifying creative ways to differentiate in a competitive market.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Lead development of thought leadership, case studies, newsletters, and press that reinforce Founders’ expertise.
  • Ensure the website and digital presence reflect the firm’s brand, expertise, and unique client stories.
  • Partner with bankers to build tailored pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing materials.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Drive lead generation through SEO, email marketing, paid media, and other digital initiatives.
  • Track performance and ROI across campaigns, reporting results and optimizing for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement new tools, platforms, and tactics to maximize marketing impact.

Events & Client Engagement

  • Promote and support conferences, speaking engagements, and client events that expand relationships.
  • Ensure consistent event branding, smooth execution, and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Collaborate with client teams to create memorable touchpoints that strengthen retention and referrals.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Proven ability to create and execute marketing strategies that generate measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for clear, compelling storytelling.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms (CRM, analytics, email marketing, design tools).

Preferred

  • 5–7 years of progressive marketing experience in professional or financial services.
  • Background in service-based businesses where relationships drive growth.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM), WordPress, and creative/design platforms.
  • Track record of helping organizations modernize their marketing function and scale impact.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business required.
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in B2B professional services or financial services.
