Freedom Boat Club of Michiana is on the hunt for a full-time Marketing Manager to join our core leadership team. This is an entrepreneurial and creative opportunity with an established business and brand. The Marketing Manager will own our entire marketing playbook: elevating brand awareness, supporting membership growth, and strengthening partnerships and community engagement. We are seeking an experienced professional who can develop and execute targeted, data-driven campaigns and build authentic and engaging relationships with partners and members.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Brand Management

Primary ownership for the development and execution of FBC’s annual marketing plan and campaign initiatives

Conduct market research to understand macro industry trends, local market developments, competitor offerings, and member preferences to inform the overall marketing strategy and growth targets

Create and execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing plans and content creation for the club’s website, email campaigns, social media, and promotional materials, showcasing the boating lifestyle and member benefits

Manage the club’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging with FBC Corporate marketing initiatives and materials

Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as membership growth, lead conversion rates, and marketing campaign performance/ROI
Member and Community Engagement

Leverage partnerships with marinas, local businesses, and community organizations to enhance brand visibility, strengthen ties and attract prospective members

Identify and plan local event participation and sponsorship opportunities relevant to FBC business and member interests

Enhance member satisfaction and retention through member engagement initiatives, such as member events and social media activity

Monitor and analyze membership trends (growth and churn) across multiple dimensions including, location, demographics, usage patterns, etc.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or account management, preferably in the boating, hospitality, or membership-based industry

Proven track record of developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable results

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, SEO, email campaigns, and content creation

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to attend events or meet with prospective members
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of the boating industry, including recreational boating trends and customer preferences, is highly desirable.
