Marketing Manager

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing
Location: Nagpur (with travel across regions)

Reporting To: Director / Head – Sales & Marketing

Job Purpose

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for building brand visibility, driving demand generation, supporting sales growth, and executing go-to-market strategies for Ganesh Gouri Industries across retail, project, plumbing, and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities1. Brand & Product Marketing

  • Develop and execute brand positioning strategies for CPVC, UPVC, SWR, Column Pipes, HDPE, Water Tanks, and Plumbing Accessories
  • Ensure consistent brand identity across all marketing materials, dealer branding, and communication
  • Plan and launch new product introductions (NPI) in coordination with sales and production teams

2. Sales Enablement & Trade Marketing

  • Design dealer, distributor, plumber, and contractor schemes in coordination with sales
  • Create sales tools such as brochures, product catalogs, price lists, presentations, and comparison charts
  • Support regional sales teams with state-wise and market-specific marketing plans

3. Market Expansion & Demand Generation

  • Plan marketing strategies for new and underdeveloped markets (Tier 2 & Tier 3 towns)
  • Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, schemes, and customer behavior
  • Identify opportunities in retail, project, agriculture, and infrastructure segments

4. Digital & Communication Marketing

  • Oversee digital marketing activities including website, social media, WhatsApp marketing, and lead generation
  • Coordinate with agencies for creative design, content creation, and campaigns
  • Track digital performance metrics and optimize campaigns for ROI

5. Events, Exhibitions & Activations

  • Plan and execute dealer meets, plumber meets, product demos, exhibitions, and trade fairs
  • Manage on-ground activations including van branding, wall paintings, hoardings, and shop branding
  • Coordinate logistics, vendors, and budgets for all events

6. Budgeting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets
  • Monitor campaign performance and measure ROI
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports on marketing activities and outcomes

7. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Production, Quality, and Finance teams
  • Align marketing initiatives with capacity planning and sales targets
  • Act as a bridge between market feedback and internal stakeholders

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and building material markets
  • Experience in B2B and B2C trade marketing
  • Ability to plan and execute pan-India or multi-state marketing programs
  • Strong communication, presentation, and vendor management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on growth and ROI

Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory)

Experience

  • 7–12 years of experience in marketing
  • Prior experience in pipes, fittings, building materials, PVC/CPVC, paints, cement, or similar industries preferred
  • Exposure to dealer-driven and influencer-driven markets (plumbers, contractors)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
