About the role:

We are seeking a freelance Marketing Manager to lead and support integrated marketing initiatives across product launches, campaigns, partnerships, content, and brand activations. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creative marketer who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a fast-paced consumer brand environment. The Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns and launches are cohesive, compelling, and effectively executed across channels. This person will help drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth while managing timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day project coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Marketing & Launches

Support product marketing development, including concepting, naming coordination, and creative review. Lead go-to-market planning and execution in partnership with creative, sales, ecommerce, PR, and social teams. Help shape compelling product storytelling and ensure consistency across email, social, collateral, and other consumer touchpoints. Assist with shoot production, product logistics, and campaign asset delivery.


Brand Campaigns & Activations

Drive alignment for seasonal campaigns, major brand moments, and special launches. Support 360-degree planning and help execute events, activations, and experiential marketing initiatives that strengthen consumer connection and elevate brand presence.


Agency & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as a key point of contact for external agency partners and internal stakeholders across marketing functions. Manage project timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution across all channels and teams.


Partnerships, Gifting & Community

Oversee partnership, seeding, gifting, and mailer programs designed to expand reach and build relationships with target audiences. Support community-focused initiatives and events, both digital and in-person, and provide backup support for community management and related content efforts when needed.


Strategy, Planning & Reporting

Manage marketing calendars and planning tools, ensuring real-time updates and strong organizational oversight. Prepare recap materials, presentations, and internal reporting, while also monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the category.


Content & Social Support

Contribute to content ideation, production coordination, and trend monitoring, especially across emerging and high-growth social platforms. Support amplification opportunities, giveaways, and social channel planning, while helping refine platform strategy and brand communication.


Team Support

Provide oversight and direction for junior support resources or interns where applicable, including coordination of inventory, product logistics, event support, production needs, office brand moments, and presentation development.


Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of professional marketing experience required.
  • Beauty or personal care industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Candidates should be confident working cross-functionally, managing deadlines, and navigating both internal and external partnerships with professionalism and a collaborative attitude.
