Koa is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Rockville, Maryland. We are a dynamic, fun, growing company, with a bleeding passion for sports! Our mission is “shaping kids’ lives through sports” every decision we make, comes back to our mission. We have roughly a dozen full-time employees and a part-time staff of over 200 and we are looking for more all-stars. The Marketing Manager and Brand Advocate at Koa Sports is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. Who is responsible for enhancing Koa’s brand, while creating digital content, managing our website, social media, and Hubspot Emails & campaigns. The job includes creating flyers, writing emails, overseeing a part time “street team,” This position reports directly to Koa’s CEO.
The job is located at Koa Sports HQ- 9200 Corporate Blvd Rockville, MD 20850 with travel to local fields around the Beltway as well as traveling inside the United States for Tournaments. This is a hybrid position, with nights and weekend work.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Master Koa’s systems, including but not limited to:

Google Applications, Flickr, Meta Business Suite, Wordpress, Canva, Hubspot, YouTube Facebook, Instagram, Adobe, DSLR cameras, and more

Hire and manage social media/content interns and “street team” members

Run Hubspot campaigns including, but not limited to- emails, workflows, landing pages, and paid ads

Develop social media campaigns and closely monitoring “viral” trends

Designing and improving engagement of Koa’s monthly newsletter

Creating & editing high quality digital flyers, photos, reels, promotional videos & website pages

Building Koa’s brand through its website, facility, master list emails, and (physically) in the community

Improve and report on website metrics, links, and useability
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Marketing or Related Field

Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience

Minimum 1 year of SEO experience

Minimum 1 year of experience on the Meta Business Suite

Preferred 1 year of Hub Spot experience

Proven track record of growing social media following

Time management and ability to juggle multiple projects

Basic youth sports knowledge

Proficient communication, verbal and electronic

Excellent problem solver
Salary Range- $50,000-$65,000 based on experience
