Marketing Manager (E-Commerce)

Position Overview
John Malecki Media is a content and e-commerce company built on the trades, woodworking, and shop culture, with 4M+ followers across platforms and a growing product line. We're hiring a Marketing Manager to own and grow the e-commerce side of the business.

The RoleThis is not a sit-back-and-manage role. You'll be in it: building campaigns, launching products, owning the storefront and the email/SMS engine, and driving real revenue growth month over month. We move fast, we lean hard on AI, and you'll own a number, not a task list.

What You'll Own

  • E-commerce revenue: consistent month-over-month growth is your north star
  • The Shopify storefront end-to-end: merchandising, conversion, AOV, on-site experience
  • Marketing campaigns from concept to execution, and the full promotional calendar
  • Email & SMS (Klaviyo) flows, campaigns, and growing it into a real revenue channel
  • Product launch strategy and cross-channel coordination, built into a repeatable playbook
  • On-brand content built to convert, created fast, and often with AI
  • Outside contractors/vendors when needed: briefs, scope, deadlines, quality
  • Reporting on performance and revenue pacing against monthly goals

What This Role Is NOT

  • Not the YouTube content engine, that's Media. You pull from it, you don't run it.
  • Not workshop or production management.
  • Not a hands-off strategy seat. If you want to delegate everything and present slides, the wrong job.

What Success Looks Like

  • Predictable, compounding month-over-month e-commerce revenue growth
  • Email/SMS established as a measurable share of total revenue
  • A repeatable launch playbook that doesn't depend on you scrambling each time
  • Clean reporting that shows exactly what's driving the number

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Shopify and e-commerce experience is a must
  • Proficient in Klaviyo, Notion, Adobe Suite, and Claude (or comparable AI tools)
  • A capable content creator who knows how to make content that performs and converts
  • Tech-forward, AI-fluent, highly organized, and takes full ownership
  • Bonus: you know the trades, DIY, woodworking, or shop culture space

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Reports to: Head of E-Commerce

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
