Position Summary
The role of the Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications. This position is responsible for planning and implementing marketing and communication strategies promoting Washington Regional’s key service lines and supporting organizational initiatives that are in alignment with the overall marketing plan and Washington Regional brand standards. This position works collaboratively with internal team members, agencies, vendors, and community partners.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Plan and implement marketing strategies that support Washington Regional’s key initiatives while ensuring work is in alignment with mission and brand standards.
Identify hospital department and clinic marketing needs, create copy for appropriate audiences, work with agency and vendors to produce collateral.
Ensure hospital, clinic, provider, and service line information is accurate and optimized on third-party platforms.
Support reputation management efforts by obtaining, documenting and responding to patient feedback.
Build and maintain strong, long-term, collaborative relationships with internal team members, agencies, media partners and the external community.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field required.
Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in marketing, communications, public relations or patient experience. Health care experience preferred.
Skills: The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information is essential. Must practice sound judgement and have proven written, organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be fluent in personal computing software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment and 20% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 25 lbs. This is role is onsite.
