Job Purpose

To lead and execute the company’s marketing strategy in Kuwait, growing brand awareness, footfall, and sales across retail showrooms and digital channels. The Marketing Manager will be deeply knowledgeable about the Kuwait furniture market, customer behavior, seasonality, pricing dynamics, competitor activity, and channel performance, and will convert insights into campaigns that deliver measurable revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1) Market & Competitor Intelligence (Kuwait Focus)

  • Maintain strong understanding of the Kuwait market: customer preferences, purchase drivers, and trends in mattresses, bedroom sets, sofas, and home solutions.
  • Track competitor pricing, promotions, product positioning, and media activity (online + offline).
  • Recommend product/offer positioning by segment (value / mid / premium) based on market data and showroom feedback.
  • Build a quarterly market insights report to support management decisions.

2) Brand & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and own the annual marketing plan aligned with sales targets and expansion goals.
  • Define brand positioning, tone of voice, and campaign guidelines across all channels.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across showrooms, website, social media, and performance ads.

3) Campaigns, Promotions & Sales Support

  • Plan and execute promotional calendars (Ramadan/Eid, National Holidays, summer sales, back-to-school, year-end).
  • Launch product campaigns and seasonal collections, including bundles, financing offers, and limited-time discounts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive showroom traffic and improve conversion through marketing-led initiatives.
  • Create in-store marketing materials (POS, banners, offers, product highlights) to support sales closing.

4) Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Growth

  • Lead digital acquisition: paid ads (Meta/Google), SEO, website content, and retargeting.
  • Improve lead generation and conversion through landing pages, forms, WhatsApp integration, and follow-up flows.
  • Coordinate product photography, short videos, and content that fits Kuwait’s audience preferences.
  • Monitor online reputation and reviews; drive a steady flow of positive customer feedback.

5) Budget, KPI Tracking & Reporting

  • Own the marketing budget and ensure spend is linked to measurable performance.
  • Track KPIs: store footfall, leads, conversion rate, ROAS, CAC, sales uplift by campaign, brand reach.
  • Present monthly results and optimization plans to management.

6) Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage external agencies/vendors (media buying, production, printing, influencers).
  • Coordinate with designers/content creators to ensure quality and speed.
  • Lead and coach marketing team members (if applicable).

Key Strengths Required (Must-Have)

  • Strong Kuwait market knowledge: retail landscape, consumer behavior, competitor environment, and promotion cycles.
  • Commercial mindset: understands how marketing drives revenue, not just likes/views.
  • Analytical and data-driven: confident with dashboards, reporting, and optimization.
  • Creativity with discipline: can generate ideas while executing professionally and consistently.
  • Strong leadership & stakeholder management: aligns sales, operations, and management around one plan.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation: can influence, present, and manage vendors effectively.
  • Execution speed & ownership: takes initiative and delivers under deadlines.
  • Customer-centric thinking: understands buying objections (comfort, warranty, materials, price) and addresses them in campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 5–8 years marketing experience, preferably in furniture, mattresses, retail, home/lifestyle, or FMCG retail.
  • Proven success in Kuwait market campaigns with measurable results.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and production.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO basics).
  • Familiar with CRM/lead tracking and reporting (Excel/Google Sheets; dashboards a plus).
  • Ability to brief creative work (copy, design, video) and ensure brand consistency.

Language Requirements

  • English: fluent (written and spoken)
  • Arabic: strongly preferred (Kuwait customer-facing market)
